Order & Payment Form Templates

Fillin Forge’s 8 order form templates are built for businesses that don’t need a full e-commerce platform but do need to accept orders and requests. The templates carry no payment or calculation field: add the Calculation or Payment (Stripe) field (both Pro) if you want totals and card payment. Good for service businesses, quotes, invoices and limited product lines.

Key features for order forms

Stripe payments (Pro)

None of the eight order templates has a payment field. To take card payments, add the Payment (Stripe) field to the form and set up Stripe in the Stripe Payments card of Fillin Forge > Settings.

Calculation fields for totals

None of the order templates has a calculation field. Add one (Pro) to compute subtotals, taxes, discounts, shipping, and final totals. The result is recalculated in the browser each time the visitor changes a field, so there is no “calculate” button. In the Formula box of the field you type an expression such as {price} * {quantity}, with the names of other fields in braces and in lower case; the buttons under Available tokens insert them. Only numbers count: a value that does not start with a number counts as 0. The token buttons do not offer a Calculation, Repeater, Payment or File Upload field, so build the formula from the other fields.

Repeater fields for lists of items

For orders with a variable number of items, the repeater field (Pro) lets users add as many rows as they need with the + Add Row button. The rows hold text inputs only, and a Calculation field cannot use a repeater in its formula, so the rows are sent with the order but are not added up. For a quantity you want to total, use a Number field.

Tax in the formula

Fillin Forge has no tax feature and no tax rates by region. If one rate applies to every order, put it in the formula yourself: {price} * {quantity} * 1.08 adds 8% to the line total.

Discounts

Fillin Forge has no discount code feature. The formula of a Calculation field allows only numbers, field names and the signs + – * / and brackets, so it cannot check a code. A fixed discount can go into the formula itself: {price} * {quantity} * 0.9 takes 10% off.

Order emails

The order templates do not set up any email. In the Email Notifications card of the form builder, turn on Notify admin on submission to get an email with the value of each field (a new form starts with it switched off). Turn on Send auto-reply to submitter, pick the customer’s email field under Email field (for auto-reply address) and write the Message to send the customer a confirmation. The message is sent as you write it, with no placeholders for the order values.

HubSpot or CRM integration

The HubSpot CRM card (Pro) sends the customer’s email address to HubSpot as a contact when Send lead to HubSpot on submission is on. Toggle on Also create a Deal and enter the Pipeline ID and the Stage ID to create a deal as well; it is named after the form and the submission number, and Fillin Forge sends no order values with it. To send the order fields to any other system, enter a Webhook URL in the Webhook card: Fillin Forge posts the label and value of each field that has a value to that address.

Order forms vs WooCommerce

For anything more complex than a few products or one-off orders, WooCommerce is the right tool. Fillin Forge has no cart, product catalog or stock count: an order is a form submission. Order forms fit:

  • Service businessesquote and invoice requests without a product catalog
  • Custom / made-to-order productsevery order is unique
  • Limited product linesa handful of products, not a full store
  • One-off ordersevents, donations, specific campaigns
  • Lead capture with payment (Pro): free consultations that convert to paid

If you’re running a store, use WooCommerce (and Lang Forge can translate it). If you’re taking occasional orders, an order form template may be all you need.
