From the Fillin Forge code: the Free plugin has 24 of the 28 field types, all 168 templates, conditional logic, webhooks, file uploads, CSV export and the migrators. The paid plans add the Page Break, Repeater, Calculation and Payment (Stripe) fields, multi-step forms, conversational mode, AI form generation and AI summaries of submissions, form analytics, and the Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Google Sheets and Google Calendar connections. The paid plans differ by the number of sites ($54/year for 1 site, $154/year for 5 sites, $224/year for unlimited sites). AI features run on credits: a one-time 100-credit welcome bonus is added to your account at its first paid license activation, and credit packs are sold separately (see avakode.com/pricing).

Moving from Ninja Forms

Fillin Forge has a Ninja Forms migrator (Fillin Forge → Migration in the WordPress admin).

  1. Back up your database
  2. Install Fillin Forge next to Ninja Forms
  3. Open Fillin Forge → Migration and import the forms
  4. Review each imported form
  5. Replace the embed shortcode [ninja_form id="X"] with [formforge id="X"]
  6. Test each form, then deactivate Ninja Forms

Scope: the migrator imports forms, fields and the submissions it can read. Paid Ninja Forms add-ons (conditional logic, multi-part forms, payments, CRM, webhooks) are not transferred automatically; rebuild them in Fillin Forge and test the published form.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fillin Forge have calculations and repeatable fields?

Yes, as the Calculation and Repeater fields in the paid plans. The Free plugin does not include them.

Can I keep Ninja Forms active during the move?

Yes. The steps above have you install Fillin Forge next to Ninja Forms; keep Ninja Forms active until the imported forms pass your tests.

Do I lose my submission data?

The migrator imports the submissions it can read from Ninja Forms; the migration screen shows how many. Check the count against your Ninja Forms entries before you deactivate it.

What if I use a Ninja Forms add-on that Fillin Forge does not have?

Then keep that part on Ninja Forms or rebuild it by hand; the migrator does not copy paid add-ons. Check the lists on this page and in the plugin before you move.
