Form Analytics & Conversion Tracking

Fillin Forge tracks every impression, submission, and abandonment on every form — no third-party analytics required. The data lives in your WordPress database and is surfaced in a dashboard built for non-analysts: real metrics, clearly labeled, without a 300-page setup manual.

What Fillin Forge tracks

Impressions

Every time a form is loaded on a frontend page, it’s counted as an impression. A visitor who reloads the page is counted again.

Submissions

Every successful submission. Test submissions and abandoned drafts are left out of the count.

Conversion rate

Submissions ÷ impressions, calculated per form and per time period.

Abandonment rate

Users who interacted with the form (typed in a field) but didn’t complete it. Tracked via navigator.sendBeacon() when the user navigates away.

Per-field fill rate

The AI analysis (below) works out how often each field is filled in on completed forms and on abandoned ones. Great for identifying optional fields that users skip: candidates for removal.

The analytics screen

The Analytics screen in the Fillin Forge menu shows your numbers for the last 7, 30 or 90 days (pick it in the Range list). Four cards sit at the top: Total Views, Total Submissions, Conversion Rate and Abandoned. Below them a table lists every form with its views, submissions, conversion and abandoned count, with links to its submissions, the AI analysis and the form editor.

Counts are cached for up to 5 minutes per form and date range; a new view, submission or abandoned form clears that cache.

AI submission analysis

To run an analysis, open the submissions of a form and click Run new analysis in the AI Submission Analysis panel. Fillin Forge sends summary statistics for the form (counts and rates, not the submission content) to our AI backend. You get back:

  • A score from 0 to 100 for the form
  • Specific suggestionsfor example remove a field, make it optional, reorder fields, split the form, simplify a label, add a placeholder or cut a long list of options
  • A priority for each suggestion, so you know which change to make first

The AI analysis is not generic advice. It’s based on your actual form’s statistics: how often each field is filled in on completed forms compared with abandoned ones.

How it runs

AI analysis runs in the background via the Forge job queue, so there is no PHP timeout. The panel shows the status while it works. View cached analysis shows the last result, which is kept for 6 hours. A form needs at least 10 completed or abandoned submissions before it can be analyzed.

AI analysis uses credits from your shared credit pool. A typical analysis uses about 5 credits.

No third-party trackers

Fillin Forge’s analytics use no third-party services, no tracking pixels, no cookies beyond WordPress defaults. Analytics are stored in your WordPress database; the Privacy Policy describes what Avakode handles.
